Parkinson Lee Executive Search are retained partners to Omega PLC in the appointment of a Head of Contract Sales. This is a national role, with a significant time in the London / South East region also.
Omega PLC are a UK based manufacturer of high quality fitted kitchens, supplying kitchens through a network of retail partners and the contractor trade market. Omega employs 400 people across the business and celebrated a record turnover for 2022, reflecting a remarkable annual growth of 22%.
To facilitate their next growth journey, Omega PLC has invested heavily to secure materials and increase warehouse capacity, doubling their UK stockholding, and ensuring price stability for their customers.
Within the contract kitchen market Omega have a unique design and consumer focussed proposition. Omega offer a truly nationwide end-to-end service covering design, manufacture, installation and after care.
The business operates with selected partners across 3 core markets of:
• Regional House Builders
• National Premium House Builders
• Major Projects Division
Reporting into the Contract Sales & Operations Director, The Head of Contract Sales will be responsible to take the team forward and continue to drive revenue and margin across the division.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Setting the sales strategy plan to achieve year on year growth, developing a clear strategy on targeting new business across the country in their 3 market segments
• Responsible for leading, motivating, and inspiring the sales team to drive sales activity and achieve KPIs
• Develop commercial proposals for new and existing customer growth, whilst maintaining company financial goals
• Establish strong working relationships with national, regional, and major project customers and attend key strategic customer meetings
• Encourage factory visits with customers and the sales team to showcase the manufacturing operation, first class showroom, and investment in the contracts team
• Ensure customer service level agreements are achieved by the business liaising with internal partners e.g. Contract Design, Contract Operations, Contract Management, etc
Parkinson Lee are looking for experience sales leaders than can demonstrate the below:
• Proven success in managing a National Sales Team in the contract / specification market or dealing with National House Builder Markets in a complex sales process
• Results driven with proven achievements of success within a sales environment
• Able to demonstrate own success with practical examples
• Ideally experience of working in, and selling for, a branded business
• Proven people management experience gained managing a team, i.e. recruitment, performance management, training, and development
• High level of interpersonal and communication skills
• Full driving licence without excessive points
