Job Description
Parkinson Lee Executive Search are retained partners to an AIM listed manufacturing business, based in West Yorkshire, in the appointment of a Chief Information Officer / Chief Technology Officer to join their growing business.
As a key member of the Executive Team, you will help drive the strategic agenda through your deep understanding of technology, data architecture, digital transformation and analytics, leading and motivating a high performing team in order to drive business goals and support company growth.
Key Responsibilities will include:
•Leadership and development of the IT team
•Development the Group’s IT roadmap for infrastructure and enterprise/systems architecture
•Responsibility for providing the necessary framework, defences and safeguards for the Group’s data, including all sensitive data from both internal and external threats.
•Acting as a key leader and change agent as the Group continues its digital transformation and upgrade to legacy systems
•Driving Innovation through the application of pragmatic, business-oriented technology solutions that assist the business in differentiating from its competitors, improves the customer journey and enables scalability in line with the Group’s growth plans
Parkinson Lee Executive Search are inviting individuals with the following backgrounds to apply:
•The proven ability of working at Board level, supporting the strategic goals of the Group whilst also being very comfortable with a hands-on approach whereby they immerse themselves in the detail.
•Multisite manufacturing experience would be preferred with experience of direct-to-consumer model
•Must thrive on all aspects of people management, including mentoring and development of the core team
•Resilience and can-do attitude are a must
•Enjoys the challenge of working in a dynamic, highly operational environment
•10+ years of relevant experience, in particular management of infrastructure and exposure to digital transformation
•Proactive business-focused leader with an excellent track record of driving technology change and overseeing IT transformations (including consolidation)
•Proven experience of building scalable platforms and integrating existing platforms and solutions
•A strong track record of managing cyber security, for example leading the accreditation of Cyber Essentials+ or similar
•Exposure to cloud technology – Microsoft Azure – AWS – Google
•Exposure to leading ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Salesforce etc.
•TOGAF certification
