Job Description
Parkinson Lee are the retained partner to a fast growing, highly entrepreneurial SME Organisation within Building & Construction Sector currently looking to appoint a Director of Group Corporate Services. Based in the West Yorkshire region.
Our client is a c£30 million turnover business poised for substantial growth over the next 18-24 months. Currently employing c100 staff across 3 business units. This role will have 3 direct reports with a wider team of permanent, contract and subcontract staff.
Reporting into the Group MD and supporting the wider Executive Team, the Director of Group Corporate Services will take direct responsibility for managing and leading the groups corporate functions including HR, IT, Supply Chain, Health & Safety, Quality and Administration.
In this newly created role, the strategic development and leadership of these functions will ensure the business is maximising all opportunities presenting themselves. By ensuring the necessary processes, accreditations, regulatory compliance, and quality controls are in place, the successful candidate will afford the Exec Team to focus on their respective roles.
In this leadership position, the Director of Group Corporate Services will work closely with the Board and Executive Team to set strategies around each core function to ensure they are aligned to the overall business strategy whilst setting key objectives that will be continually managed and assessed. Ultimately ensuring an efficient and robust operational / shared service function is established.

•A proven track record of operating at board level within an SME
•Experience of leading multiple corporate functions (HR, IT, Supply Chain, Health and Safety, Quality and / or Administration)
•Ability to develop strategies across multiple corporate functions to align with the business strategy
•Strong leadership and performance management experience
•Ambitious and motivated to help drive growth within the company
•Able to build solid relationships with a close nit team and comfortable providing ideas for divisional discussions to help develop and drive the strategy.
