Job Description

Parkinson Lee Executive Search are currently working with a leading Financial Services business based in Yorkshire in the appointment of an Interim CFO.

Reporting to and working closely with the CEO and wider executive team, you will contribute to the successful delivery of planned results, both operationally and financially.

Leading the team, you will provide effective strategic direction and operational efficiency, for the duration of the contract, in relation to:

• Group strategic plans

• Corporate Development

• Shareholder and Stakeholder relations

• Achievement of financial and operational plans

Some of the key accountabilities during your time in post will include:

• Responsibility for the firm’s performance of its obligations under the FCA’s Senior Managers Regime

• Overall responsibility for the firm’s compliance to financial standards

• Group strategy and implementation

• Financial planning, reporting and statutory accounting for the Group

• Effective management and oversight of Support Functions

• Effective Executive and Stakeholder management

• Budget management

The successful candidate will be a qualified Finance Executive, Immediately Available, with previous experience at senior level within a regulated environment.

Skills required include:

• Experience of working within the UK financial services sector

• Available to start a contract either immediately or at short notice (1-2 weeks)

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ICAEW)

• Any additional qualifications (ACII / FCII) would be highly desirable

• Must be FCA approved

• Strong leadership skills, able to build relationships quickly and effectively
