Parkinson Lee Executive Search are currently partnering with a significant Supply Chain / Logistics organization based in Yorkshire in the appointment of an Interim Finance Executive. The initial assignment will be for approximately 3 months.

Reporting into the Finance Director, key aspects of the project will include:

• Conducting a business process review within the organisation Freight Forwarding that goes through the current processes in detail for each revenue flow, describes the current state, and analyses issues, risks, and gaps.

• Making recommendations to the business on process improvements, and what controls would be best placed to close any gaps or reduce risks.

• Driving the recommended changes, embedding them into the teams and reporting on the effectiveness of any changes

The successful candidate will likely be operating at the Finance Director / CFO level and will have significant knowledge and experience of management systems and their effective use.

In addition, our client is looking for :

An action orientated individual with a ‘roll up the sleeves’ attitude

Experience in identifying risk, designing processes and embedding improvements

Well developed analytical skills

Experience of implementing change and process improvements

Knowledge of supply chain and logistics is preferred but not essential
