Job Description

Parkinson Lee Executive Search are currently partnering with a significant, Yorkshire Based, financial services organisation in the appointment of a Project Director – Business Transformation.

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Executive Leadership team, this is a high profile appointment which will deliver a highly confidential, business wide strategic project.

Key Responsibilities will include:

•Providing a confidential project management leadership service, taking responsibility for the full project lifecycle from inception to delivery

•Reporting progress milestones to the CEO and broader governance committees on a monthly basis

•Act as the main point of contact to senior stakeholders and shareholders, providing robust project leadership and acting as business advisor

•Taking responsibility for the progress of various workstreams, including development and management of project plans, management of risk and issues mitigation and resolution

The ideal candidate will have a background in Consultancy or Strategic Project Leadership within the Financial Services Sector.

In addition, we will be looking for you to demonstrate:

•Evidence of successfully owning enterprise transformation strategic projects

•Core consulting competency including but not limited to planning, organising, managing the client and engagement, problem solving, decision making, risk assessment, leadership, client service orientation

•Experience of working successfully under pressure at the C Suite level

to deliver against critical milestones

•Extensive stakeholder management experience

•Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate and engage effectively with senior level, internal and external stakeholders with differing interests

This will be a 6 month contract initially, with the possibility of extending to 12 months.
