Job Description

Parkinson Lee Executive Search are working in partnership with Drax plc in their search for a Senior Manager – Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.

Drax are a dynamic and forward thinking plc business, listed on the London Stock Exchange who are looking to hire a similar thinking individual to lead their ED&I strategy.

This is a senior position where you will be required to bring the strategy to life and be the subject matter expertise in this field. You will be accountable for leading the delivery and governance of the DEI strategy, supporting the Company’s ambition to be a more diverse, equitable and inclusive company.

You will inspire and influence various stakeholders to deliver the global DEI strategy and use your expertise to support local teams with local DEI plans. Project management, Governance, regular reporting on progress to key stakeholders all form part of this role. Reporting to the Head of Resourcing you will work closely with all levels of staff including the Board.

You will work with external stakeholders and service providers acting as a credible expert voice of DEI within the business.

With a commercial approach, a growth mindset and a passion for change, you will have D&I expertise from different labour markets with strong experience of developing and delivering strategic D&I plans to desired outcomes. You will understand the importance of and have a strong track record in relationship building and influencing skills to operate successfully at senior levels and cross functionally with a personal responsibility to hold yourself and others accountable for performance.

You will be assigned to an office in the North of England where you will be able to visit twice a week.
